About Me
"I know normal people, but you're definitely NONE of them."
"Will you ever grow up?!"
"You're crazy/weiirrdooo,,,"
THOSE ABOVE ARE NOT OFFENSE TO ME. In fact, those are pretty good compliments :DDDD
私はレイラです,はじめまして.
I'm Lajla, 31, Polish living in UK (don't be confused with my real surname, it's unpronounceable) It's a shame I created my couchsurfing account so late while I should rather think about retirement, not going out... Ok, I still think of hanging out with people who won't get bored with different culture and enthusiastic attitude with some doze of insanity and huge doze of energy. ^^
I always loved traveling, but unfortunately I didn't get big chance in Poland (おかね が なかった)
しかし, as I turned 31 I said - "NOOOO, just make your wishes come true" and I quickly decided to go to Japan, and that's going to be my first trip with Coachsurfing! And hopefully second, third, etc...
I work in a Parker in UK (the guys from famous pens, but they don't do pens now - they do VALVES), so my happy day looks like...
1. Coffee (there's a hidden monster without coffee, called ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE)
2. Believing one day I won 1mln lottery
3. Running to work and smiling for a better chance to do some overtime (It works. I often hear that I'm the only one person smiling from the very morning! I really really try NOT to say again that it's because some good Shiki's cosplay found on Deviantart...)
4. Coffee(a lot, often, many mugs), chatting(quite busy), valves assembly and diggin' in some engineering rubbish failed stuff...
5. Praying for 1mln LOTTERY win so I can spend everything for j-rock concerts
6. Earphones on and starting playing MUCC* for the next 8-10 hours.
*-if not MUCC, look section below - MUSIC
7. Running home happily because of overtime and freedom (finally).
Very cool, I love my job and people around me. Not every job let you play music until you're deaf *_*333
I love drawing, I was drawing since 子どもの とき that's why other children didn't want to sit with me in one bench because I was treating them with Sailor Moon drawings/manga/cosplays/stories. Pff, their loose.
I also love Japanese, it's a difficult language. It requires plenty of time to learn :3 But I really want to learn, unfortunately I learn on my own because no proper schools in my area. My family got used to the fact that sometimes I use my bad Japanese on them and my sister even learnt a word that she uses against me: "ばか". I think it's very rude of her and I won't buy any new Beyonce DVD for her soon.
I love my family and even my cat. Sometimes (once per 2 months) I can even hug her ;3
My favourite colours are black and red, but black more on me and red more to the items I choose. As far as I remember if I had to choose between blue/red pen, always picked up the red one. The same with mugs. The same with I don't know, toy-cars. I buy a huge drink for anyone who solves out this mistery :DDD
I do really love walking at night in a busy areas, night's lantern lights, views, that neverending life :3
And I love talking with people, sharing experience, their stories, learning from them, spreading my knowledge, laughing a lot and again, chatting on different topics!
What I hate: dishonest people, liers, enthusiasm-killers. There's no excuse so I put their names to my Desu No... ok that's enough :D I can't laugh while writing this section, so we're done here.:D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel that couchsurfing gives you great opportunity to meet up with the people from different parts of the world, to learn their culture, to spread your culture, to gain abroad-travelling-experience and end up with friends world-wide. You can spend your trip safe and you can host safe. Also, it sounds like a unforgettable hanging out with people who feel the same way ;3 I believe the idea of Couchsurfing is people and culture, not a place/safelock.

Music, Movies, and Books
ATTENTION:
My day should have 123 hours so I'd have a time for proper long-term listening whatever I like, because...
MUSIC:
MUCC /ムック/ /333333333333333333333333333333333333333333*
////another five screens of hearts, so let's play we skipped this and I can move to the next section////
My love to MUCC is neverending and there's no reasonable way to measure it *o* I heard them for a very first time in 2008 ("Zutazuta" and "Kimi ni sachi are" from HomuraUta, "Waga arubeki basho" from Zekuu) and that's it, I got MUCC-ied forever and I listen MUCC every day. Never got bored, if I still can come back to the same songs (and 1000+ more/new/unknown) that means it's forever. While living in Poland it was impossible for me to collect any j-rock albums, I moved to UK and started collecting my preeecioooousssss /gollum mode/
DIR EN GREY /ディル アン グレイ/ /333333333333333333 OMG my second big j-rock love. I can't wait their new album's release and their concert in October in Poland, for which I obviously got my tickets^^ I can't even say what is my fav album, they're so FREAKING GOOD and I keep listening them constantly as well.
the GazettE /ガゼット/ /3333333333333333 my third huge music love. But my mum got angry on them because I played "Mayakashi" like 15 times repeating. ざんねんです... Keep my fingers crossed for my access to their concert in Japan ;D
Of course, I have some time (somehow a little, as those above took 95% of my ears' attention) for a different music, so:
/Western/ Placebo, Within Temptation, Marilyn Manson, Aimee Allen
/Polish/ HEY, KAT, Lady Pank, Dzem
MANGA:
KAORI YUKI!!!! Tenshi Kinryouku made my life *O* Obviously I read her other works, too. As it was extremely hard to get any of her manga in Poland, when I was far younger, I ordered German versions and translated with a school dictionary :D I do always buy, never read online as I like having arts on paper :D Also, 大好きなDeath Note, Yami no Matsuei, Seimaiden
BOOKS:
J.R.Tolkien,J.K.Rowling,A.Rice,M.L.Kossakowska (especially "The Sower of Wind". MLK is an Polish author but unfortunately she never pushed her work abroad and never got a proper English translation)
MOVIES: I don't care if it's high budget movie or unknown film until it keeps me entertained. So I like supernatural Marvel movies as well as dramatic and heart touching Guillermo del Toro movies. I love cinemas, but honestly I don't have that much time to stay informed about every new release or even watch Netflix series.
ANIME: Death Note (Ok. I always have time to watch some episodes of my fav anime :P), Togainu no Chi. Also, I love all the live-action stuff that came out for Desu Noto //33
BIGSCREEN-WATCHABLE: J-rock concerts from DVD/YT :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I sang an opening for Sailor Moon on my cousin's wedding, when I was 10 :D :D :D :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe in power of conversation so whatever you want to know/learn, as far as I can, I'll try to teach/explain/share it with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very flexible and easy-going person, once I'm someone's guest, I'd love to be a very good company and help as much as possible (I know, people work as well and have their things to do).
I'm willing to give a glimpse into Polish culture and tradition, language if you're brave enough (it can be quite funny until you start thinking of learning seriously), as well as my overall companionship, endless chatting on almost every topics, loaads of laugh so make sure your midriff is strong enough, hanging out, going out, I can cook some polish food! Or do a dishwashing. Or even vacuum. Or go on a concert with you, or drink your last drink if you can't drink anymore :D
I just want to provide a very good time for my host and myself and stay friends. :3 Hopefully, one day someone wants to visit Poland /333 or UK. But Poland is very pretty and interesting/333
