About Me

Hi! 20 years old from Brisbane, Australia. Studying a degree in psychology& justice and hope to one day work in non punitive forms of rehabilition/ alternatives to prison. My main goal in life is to be able to understand others and have others understand me through empathy and compassion. I don't see things black and white and I will confess I do get caught up over thinking many things in life.. To relax I love to go bush walking, for a laid back drink, coffee & books, playing the saxophone, seeing live music, yoga and other outdoor activities. I'm very passionate about doing no harm to people, animals and the environment. I am predominately vegan but depending on the situation I am flexible and open to vegetarianism.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning a semester abroad in Europe :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books recently would have to be the book thief, light between two oceans and the girl on the train

When it comes to movies I would take British comedy of American any day!

I really fucking hate loose ends and when plot lines don't add up. I'm happy to fill in silences but nothing frustrates me more than a contradictory storyline!

Favourite bands? Boy and bear, the growlers, cat empire, will and the people, crowded house, unknown mortal orchestra ... Many more

God damn I love jazz too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked mountains in Nepal and gone white water rafting there

- I have picked up a couple of card games in my time but I always love learning more
- I can introduce you to some tunes by local Australian bands as most of my favourite music comprises of different Aussie artists
