After 3 wonderful years working in the solar industry in Oakland, I left the company to take a road trip! I felt like there was too much of the country left to see and explore. I look at the world through a lens of a journalist; I try to reserve judgement and patiently observe.

I love learning about the places I'm visiting through the eyes of locals! I am brand new to this, but am excited to give it a try, and eventually be a host too. I have plans to travel in Europe after I get back from my road trip, so it may be a while before I'm in one place long enough to host couch surfers.
