Hello, my name is Laura and I'm a world traveller. I just graduated from college. I majored in Theatre and minored in German. I usually travel alone, and I have met so many great people from my trips. I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to America when I was 15 years old. Since I was young, I got to experience different kind of cultures and got interested in learning new languages. I personally love meeting new people. Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have met a friend while travelling in Egypt. He told me about his memorable experiences of couchsurfing and recommended me to try. Since then, I got interested. I am delighted that I get an opportunity to talk, eat, sleep with someone who's originally from the region I'm visiting.

I volunteered in Tanzania, Africa and taught English to kids. I stayed with a local family, and it was the best thing I've ever done in my life.
