Hi there, my name is Laura and I am from Germany. I work in Marketing and show people how to save money on daily purchases. learned about Couch Surfing when I moved to the US to work there as an Au Pair. That was in 2015. Now I live in a beautiful suburb of Hamburg/ Germany and am happy to host guests, share stories and make new friends.

I am vegan but my husband is not so I won’t judge anyone for any food preferences but this goes both ways.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am using Couchsurfing because I like to do what locals do! Sure if I explore new places I’ll go see the tourist spots as well but I am more interested in the people and in the culture and that’s something no fancy hotel can ever give you. I also like the fact of saving money so I can travel even more :D

I’m a swiftie! But I also like other artists and almost every kind of music but mostly country and alternative. Not watching much tv, but if I do it’s either Harry Potter or a Hallmark Christmas movie 😂.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all! I believe if you do everything with an open mind and open heart, the good things happening to you will be countless shortly! My greatest experience so far was being an Au Pair with all the ups and downs. I learned so much about myself during this time and got to meet people that I now call my best friends.
Also starting my own business was an experience I’d never wanna miss!
