Yo! I like to keep these things short and sweet - I'm a social spirit, enjoyer of many types of days and nights (loud and quiet), have been previously described as a rainbow snowflake, unicorn and firework (not necessarily in that order). I left the ratrace of London to start making my way around the planet, learning and teaching wherever I can.

Music - I'm a trained sound engineer, so I don't particularly have a deadset preference. When I'm on the snowboard, it'll be a mix of dubstep, metal and ambient (weather dependent). When I'm driving it'll be something I can sing to. When I'm sleeping it might be classical.

Movies - I used to work in film postproduction, so this is a tough one! Top 5 that I can think of straight away (in no particular order): Moulin Rouge, Akira, Howl's Moving Castle, Alien, Macbeth (the newest one with Michael Fassbender).

Books - A Man Called Ove, Alice In Wonderland, A Long Way To A Small Angry Planet

I've just completed my first winter season as a snowboarding instructor, and have progressed in that one season from no qualifications to gaining my SBINZ level 1 and childrens certification. I even took my level 2 exam and missed it by one mark! By far that's the most amazing thing I can think that I've done yet.

I'd love to be able to learn another language with someone, it's a life goal to be bilingual! I'd also love to learn to surf and skateboard, to follow up with my snowboarding. I can teach snowboarding and theory of it, I'm pretty mean with technology (from my degree) and am happy to share in any of that knowledge!

My personality! I'm usually up for a good song, a bit of exploring, eating in new places - the usual bit. Apparently I make darned good brownies too - there's marshmallows involved and EVERYTHING. Of course I'm also happy to pitch in with cleaning, handywork, looking after things - whatever I can do to repay the favour really!
