About Me

I have always considered that speaking about oneself is a difficult and subjective task... Anyway, I´m a Spanish girl who has been living in Glasgow for almost 5 years. Now that I´m back to my hometown I need to be myself again and travel around the world and meet people.

I´m a lovely person (my friends say that), and I try to smile everyday because it is the engine of my life. I think you can change the day of anybody just smiling. I am also very honest, sometimes Scottish people can think that I´m rude but I think this is a question of culture (maybe I need to be less direct... ), but I promise you that I´m a nice girl.

Sometimes I think I´m like Amelie, always trying to enjoy the small pleasures like the smell of coffee, feel the sun on my face, walking in the mountains, a great lunch with friends (and a long chat... I´m Spanish), feeding the squirrels in the park, singing in the shower, watching a movie on a rainy Sunday, collecting coasters, playing the guitar and singing a song in the light of two candles...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to meet people and make friends all over the world. I´ll be travelling around Croatia next June, so I hope to meet you around!

Take care!

Interests

I´m a very active person. I love meeting new people and new cultures, travelling, cooking (my friends say I´m a great cook), writing stories for children, singing, playing the guitar, dancing ceilidh,...

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to all kind of music but I prefer indie, author music, celtic music.
About movies I love all those with social content

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Five years ago I went to Nicaragua as a volunteer with a programme of the government and I wrote a book for children about this experencie to make people know other ways of life and change consciences.
I used to play in a band when I was at the University (now I feel very scared to do this again!!!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach my language and my culture and I would like to learn the same. People always can teach me something new and this is the most important thing in life. I can share a cup of coffee, my time, my company and my cheerfulness!
