Hello! My name is Laura and I'm a 23 year old photography student (The Fashion Institute of Technology) studying in New York City! (Residing on the outskirts in Long Island) As an ex-touring photographer who grew to love living in vans for two months at a time or more, I pretty much feel at home anywhere. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favorite parts about touring was all of the people I met. I'm still close friends with people who randomly let us stay with them from all over the country. Travel blogs and guides just can't compare to the locals! I want to continue to travel everywhere as well as meet people who make their way to New York!

Oh geeze, where to begin?! I can get interested in almost anything! I'm extremely passionate about photography. Drawing, gardening, going to concerts, the beach, the ocean and nature in general, wasting hours watching all sorts of documentaries, museums, clothing, hiking, bike riding, trying new recipes, watching hockey games, beer with cute labels, and petting dogs.
