Hi guys, my name is Laura, I am 23years young, from Germany and I am actually living and studying in the Netherlands, Maastricht.

I started Couchsurfing around 3 years ago, when I returned from my trip to New Zealand and Australia. I hosted a few people on my Couch and it was such a great experience. It felt a bit like I am on the road - travelling - again. I loved the fact that I still kept the travel spirit and to have the opportunity to meet locals, explore different cultures and meet interesting people on your own couch.

Afterwards, I didn't really have the opportunity to continue with Couchsurfing - that's why I was inactive here for maybe 2 years.

But now I finished my studies for now and the world is calling again. I am planning on travelling a bit with a good friend through the Balkans to discover something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it's the best way to discover new cultures and meet interesting people from all over the world!

Interests

My biggest interest is traveling - to explore new cities, new cultures and new people - to create good memories and to connect with easy going people!

In my freetime, I'm doing hip hop dance and other kinds of sport.

I'm also really interested in good music and I simply enjoy it to go dancing or just to relax with nice people. Another passion is good food! People who love good food are the best kind of people! :-) I really like it to cook with friends together and have a good time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The probably most amazing thing I have done in my life is.. the journey to Down Under! It was just the best time of my life so far and I enjoyed every second. I made experiences which I never ever made before. I met amazing people there who became friends for life.
Doing skydive over the Skyline of Sydney, going diving in the Great Barrier Reef, making a roadtrip along the westcoast of Australia - 8000kms of driving and seeing stunning nature and rare animals and last but not least, the most exciting journey around New Zealand.
But my journey is not finished yet.. let's keep on living the dream!
