About Me
Hi there!
I'm Laura, and probably with me there will be George, my husband! I'm an italian girl who loves her country but loves traveling more, whilst George is a very well travelled Australian. We've been wandering around the world since we were children, and we have been taught to love and learn from the cultures we come across.
We got married recently and we would like to see new places together, and get in touch with the locals, so we can understand the places we are visiting in a whole new light! We are both music and history enthusiasts, as well as absolutely obsessed with trying the local food, drinks, cool spots and art.
I love cooking, so if you are kind enough to let me and my husband George stay in your lovely home, I can make you a really nice Italian food (if it's your thing!).
We are very adaptable, great company if you fancy going for a drink and some food. If you have an question , don't hesitate to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are on our 2 months long honeymoon, hoping to see as much as we can of Malaysia, Vietnam, Korea and Japan!
We prefer discovering the places we visit with someone that knows the ins and outs of the local area, and my past experiences with Couchsurfing were amazing for this exact reason! Also we do not speak the languages, which is another reason for which we think someone local will allow us to learn so much in such interesting and otherwise unaccessible ways!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm pretty fond of music and cooking.
I love different kind of genres, from indie pop to shoegaze, noise pop to garage rock. I try to be open to everything though. I'm a good cooker, i enjoy trying new dishes and take a stab in preparing other's culture recipes. I got a sweet tooth so, yeah, I'm awesome at baking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got my bachelor degree in Rome, got drunk, slept 1 hour, took the train at 6:30 to the airport, a plane to Paris, all being terribly hangover, attended a gig and got drunk again. All in 24 hours time.
I'm pretty sure that's something I won't replicate ever again.
Update 2025: Married an Australian I met in London and now I am living in Australia, pretty insane to think about it now.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my cooking, my own experiences around the world and hopefully some insight in my italian heritage and maybe a different perspective to look at the world!
