Hi there! I'm a Colombian currently living in Spain, and I'm about to move to Canada to start a PhD program.

As I make this big move, I'm looking for a place to stay for a few days while I search for more permanent housing. I'm friendly, respectful, and independent—I don’t need much, just a safe spot to sleep and a warm welcome as I settle into this new chapter.

I love meeting people from different cultures, and I’m always happy to share stories, cook a Colombian dish, or simply have a nice chat over coffee. I'm also very mindful of people's space and privacy.

I believe travel is about connecting with people, not just places. I’m moving to Canada for a PhD and need temporary accommodation while I search for housing—but more than that, I’d love to meet locals, share cultures, and make this transition a little warmer and more human.

I’m happy to share good conversation, cultural exchange, and positive energy. As a Colombian, I can cook some traditional dishes (like arepas or a good cup of Colombian coffee!) and share stories about life in Colombia, Spain, and my journey into academia.

I’m also respectful of personal space, tidy, and always try to leave things better than I found them. I’d be glad to help out around the house if needed, and I’m always open to meaningful conversations or just sharing a relaxed vibe.
