we are a curious young couple that wants to travel through Europe.

Laura:
I finished my "Abitur" last year and worked as an Au Pair in France for 8 months now. I like to get to know new cultures (its people, traditions, lifestyle, ...) and to learn new languages (even if its hard) - therefore i wanted and still want to travel. I love to do sports. My main hobby is Judo. In my free time I spend a lot of time with children. After our small trip through Europe I would like to become a primary school teacher.
I am a very talkative person, who wants to share its experiences with other people.

Tobi:
I am 18 years old and just finished my "Abitur". Now I want to see something of the world (starting with Europe). I am a Judoka and addicted to sport just as my girlfriend. Of course I am very interested in meeting new and foreign people, landscapes and sites.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to travel through Europe and thought of couchsurfing being a great opportunity to meet interesting people and have a stay at the same time.
We aren't only looking for a place to sleep but for exciting conversations and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When we both visited Mannheim (a city in south-west Germany) in order to compete at a tournament, we had a long ride from the gym to our accommodation. It was raining and we had to carry a lot of luggage. As we were half way there, we asked a man whether he could take us in the right direction for a while. He immediately said yes and brought us all the way to our accommodation even though it was a detour for him. We had a very nice conversation and learned a lot about each others life just in 20 min. We will never forget this action and we were super thankful for his helpfulness.
