Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently to meet some incredible people and make funding my trip to the States this summer a little more financially do-able. Will consider hosting folk visiting our lovely, if a little rainy, city after August.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited a notorious Glasgow prison (purely for work purposes!) to interview inmates about taking part in comedy classes to help boost their self-esteem and confidence, which it was hoped would help them get a job and turn their lives around on their release. It was an insane experience and a good example of why I like journalism - it sometimes puts you in a position where you meet people, and do things, you never usually would. Always an eye-opening experience!
