About Me

Hello! i Hola ! こんにちは!

I am an active, adventurous, caring, a HUGE dog-loving, environmental, hands-on kind of person!
I love being active outdoors! And still :)
In my spare time, I learn karate, practice yoga, run, walk dogs, mountain bike, read, watch birds, and rock climb...indoors, outdoors, boulder, sport, trad.

I grew up a 5-minute walk from the Darling Range National Park (a fault line that created the Perth Hills). When I was 10yo, I got a puppy, Rex, and spent many hours exploring bushland. Every year, my family would holiday in the South West of WA. We rarely traveled far - one trip to Tasmania for 10 days! :)
In year 11, I went on a 2-week exchange trip to Himeji, Osaka, Japan!
Through studies and work in Outdoor Education, I traveled to beautiful parts of Western Australia, like the Boranup Forest, Blackwood River, Swan River, Paruna Sanctuary, Dwellingup, Kalbarri, Karijini, and Wooleen Station.
In 2019, I organised my first overseas trip to Queenstown, New Zealand, and enjoyed the snow for the first time! My partner, Dave, and I met travelers right away and loved hearing all the tips they had learned during their stay - what's overrated, where to go, where to eat!
I enjoy camping, expeditions, and road trips with people! Activities like swimming off beautiful white beaches in Esperance, snorkeling in Margs/Dunsborough, hiking Mt Talyuberlup, and then climbing a route on trad (Nailbite). I drove my Suzuki Jimny down a 4X4 track to West Cape Howe (60m high dolerite cliffs) for a perfect day of climbing. We hiked the Stirling Ridge Walk for 2.5days, traversing the ridge towards WA's second tallest mountain (1,099m).
We drove 1,376km to explore, swim, hike and camp overnight in the Karijini gorges, followed by a day of canyoning!

I am excited to expand my paradigm by experiencing natural wonders and cultural diversity and richness in Europe!
