Hi! I'm Laura, 23 years old and a master student of German Lit. I grew up in small town near Rostock where I've lived since 2011.
When travelling I don't mind wandering around on my own so I can set my own pace. Enjoying beautiful views, exploring cities or nature and visiting museums - I love the cultural part of travelling. On the other side I'm not big on partying and nightlife. But I'd like getting to know new people over a cup of tea :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The aspect of accommodation always scared me most about travelling because it tends to be expensive, most affordable hotels aren't very cosy (as in: impersonal) and it's difficult to get to know people. Well, CS sounds like the solution to all these problems.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer rock and metal but i won't shy away from other genres. All-time favourite: Muse.
I watch about everything apart from horror - but I really enjoy watching b-movies with friends and having a good laugh.
Since I study literature I love reading, getting lost in a story and falling in love with this special smell of old books. The first book I read was Harry Potter and it'll always be the book I turn to in happy and sad times.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think of myself as quite a decent cook so we can enjoy a meal or just a cup of tea.
