Hey there!

My name is Laura. I am 27 years old and just finished my master thesis in History. I feel that now’s the perfect time to travel around Canada (mostly B.C.) and parts of the US (around Seatlle) to gain new experience, meet interesting people, learn something about living closer to nature and get a local feeling about the country. I am open-minded, active and easy going -- spontaneous and always up for new adventures. In my leisure time I love to go on hikes, explore historic sites, listen to music, joke with my friends, pet my parent’s two dogs and be on the lookout of special sunsets.

I really love the idea of getting a local feeling about the country and city I am in -- I guess Couchsurfing is the perfect platform for that! I've always experienced that you can only get the vibe of a city or country by hanging around with locals. Plus I really like the idea of having friends all over the world! For my trip I am in search of insider recommendation and travel buddies.
