My name Is Laura I've been living in Budapest since 2012 so i know well the city and i like it, I love traveling and i've been around somehow as much as i can as it's my passion, I like photographing doing some DIY artistic stuff, I like meeting new people learn languages and get to know cultures and different kitchen as well, I like to cook and I going around exploring new places, If you're here in the city and I have time i would take you around the city :)
Im christian not very practitioner however don't freak out if you found a cross and status of virgin Mary where i live, as i respect all believes please respect mine as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coz it's good experience to meet people from around the Globe and learn new stuff grow, I love to travel as well and sometime Hotels in seasons are overloaded or even airbnb and super expensive so this makes life easier and as you give you take.

Interests

I love to travel it's good for my soul. Photography is a passion of mine, painting and renewing old furniture is a hobby as well, i start doing renovating with decoupage it's a hobby, I'm a big crazy fan of history and historical sites, not big fan of modern art.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of Music just i'm not a big fan with metallic it depend on my mood as well sometime i listen to songs from languages that i don't speak as i like how it sounds.
one of my favorite writer is an Egyptian noble prize winner and some of his books was translated to English (His name is Nagib Mahfouz) i read almost 80% of his books, other than him i like the SPY by paulo coelho was really good one.
I love watching movies some of them touched me like eat pray love and i felt her so much this movie was one of the reasons that i moved abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i like to help others without something in return like teaching English to people who need it or when i was in Cairo i used to volunteer in orphanage and help kids with their studies.
thing i'm proud of is transferring ugly damage furniture to modern amazing ones

I can teach some DYI tricks, English, Arabic and French if needed.
I'm learning Hebrew and would like to learn Mosaic art and refresh my Italian.
