Overview
About Me
I'm interested in folk music, art and crafts, homesteading skills, and pets (especially cats!). I love visiting libraries, and learning about resources in the community. I like being involved in my neighborhood in cute community stuff, and I like to check out different spots to learn and get inspiration.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting local folks and learning about neat stuff to do in the area! Also, I love the gift economy, and sharing resources, to make traveling more accessible.
In 2014, I drove from Michigan to Alaska and my friend Rose and I couchsurfed almost every night. It seriously made the trip amazing, to meet people who were happy to share stories and suggest places to stop.
Interests
I love learning about American labor history, unions, DIY, creative community organizing, and local food! I love farmers markets and I've been involved in small scale farming in Michigan.
