Since my exchange year in Poland, I realized that a big part of traveling is in the conversations you have with strangers who can later become good friends. I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to not only meet new people from different countries, but also see the place from the perspective of someone who lives there and thats always more interesting than the regular touristic perspective.
