I believe that getting to know a country is not (only) about seeing all famous touristic places but also about finding places that make you happy, even if they do not seem to be special at first.. and the best way to discover a new place is to move there for a while!

I'm German-Italian, grew up in southern Germany and I went to Uni in Vienna and Constance. I love coffee and books and art and music and discussing politics, tv series and learning languages...and travelling of course ;)
I can spend hours on a bus watching the landscapes pass by... but then again, leaving the bus and getting to know a new place is always exciting :)

I made amazing experiences in Turkey and Brazil with great hosts... and now finally living in a place where I can also host people :)
What I love about couchsurfing is the fact that you really find about how people live and how they spend their time!

waaay to many! But I really love Isabel Allende's and Chimamanda Adichie's books. musicwise I really like Alt J and Florence and the Machine and lots of other bands and songs... aand whenever it comes to partying everything is fine as long as long as the atmosphere is good, but I prefer electronic music!
