About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a culture-holic and I'll never let go of my camera. This makes for one adventurous person with a deep desire to keep traveling, learning, and giving back whenever, wherever and however I can.
ABOUT ME
Interpersonal relationships are important to me, and I value the opportunity to try new things with new people. I would generally describe myself as friendly and adventurous. Photography is incredibly important to me as well because it allows me to appreciate all the little things we normally pass over on a day-to-day basis. I'm a big fan of the unknown and I love breaking routine. I never want to stop learning so I'm always looking for opportunities.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe everyone here is responsible for the betterment of humanity, and I plan on doing everything within my power to contribute to it. As I grow over time, how I see myself accomplishing this changes quite rapidly, so I can't say I have one exact philosophy for why I live the way I do. I can, however, explain what I'm aiming for:
I believe in a sustainable world where we support one another physically, emotionally and economically.
I believe in honesty.
I believe in humility and grace as essential factors to learning about another culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a really wide variety of interests when it comes to movies, music and books. Especially when it comes to music, I'll listen to a lot of different styles: electronica, folk, hip hop, country, and pop to name the short list.
If you were to catch me on an average day, I'd probably be reading a book of poetry or something by Paulo Coehlo and listening to something relaxing, like Joshua Radin, Laura Veirs, or Jack Johnson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I spent a month in Thailand during the summer of 2009, I trekked in the jungle north of Chaing Mai. The original intent was to hike up one day and white water raft down the next, but a monsoon came our way half way up the mountainside. I was in awe of the way a person could just drown in the warm water pouring from the sky. It was beautiful and exhilarating, and made for quite an interesting trek! The next morning, I decided to awake at sunrise to catch the beauty of the mountain. It was breathtaking, and probably even more so because the monsoon had refreshed everything so naturally. A day I'll never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an ecclectic learner at heart, so I know a little bit about a lot of things. My biggest devotion is photography and graphic design, but I have an eye for most things creative and could definitely teach skills like crocheting and drawing. I have an interest in culture, people and adventure, so if you're looking for a great discussion, a good listener, or someone to lead a morning yoga or kickboxing routine I'm your girl.
