我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing mostly for practical reasons: when traveling around in Europe, Couchsurfing has proven to be incredibly useful both at providing a place to sleep and at helping you meet awesome people. The second point is of greater value to me of course, as it is a possibility to see the cities through the eyes of the locals and make the trip much more personal.

Mostly I'm into art, literature and cinema and these are the subjects which I feel most confident in. I've studied art for quite a while. I'm also drawn to Asian cultures (especially bigger regional leaders like China, India and Japan)

As far as music goes I still have a hard time defining a specific style I feel close to, but the ones that I cannot leave unmentioned are Beach Boys, Velvet Underground, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Jefferson Airplane, Joni Mitchell, Led Zeppelin, but also Neutral Milk Hotel, 5Nizza, Gorillaz, Jamie T, Claude Debussy and several Estonian artists.
Movies, that have influenced me a great deal would be the Lord of the Rings triology, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, Le Schapandre et le Papillon, of course Forrest Gump, Little Miss Sunshine, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, all Wes Anderson movies and Tarantino movies, Ed Wood and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain, Fight Club, all Marvel movies, A Lonely Man and the King's Speech and oh my the list would just go on forever
But of TV-series I do have to mention Black Books as my all time favourite, but Allo Allo, the IT- Crowd, Vicar of Dibley and other British humor shows also ranking high. Doctor Who too !
Books, that I feel obliged to mention are of course Le Petit Prince, Silk and This Story (Barricco) , the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, the Unbearable Lightness of Being (Milan Kundera), Everything's Eventul (Stephen King), the Moomins (Jansson), Perfume and other books by Patrick Süskind
