I'm a PhD student girl, currently doing her research about Medieval Barcelona. Meanwhile I also teach music and piano to kids.

I talk a lot, and people say that quite fast (even when not talking in my own language!) and I become quite passionate about things I like. You can ask me anything you want and I'm pretty sure that, even if I've got no idea what I'm talking about, I'll be able to keep on the subject for as many hours as you want!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Once a friend of mine told me about her experience sleeping on other people's couches all around the world and I told to myself that I had to try it, at least once! I think it can be a unique way to discover other cultures and meet people from all the corners of the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Music: I usually listen to Spanish and Catalan music, such as Mishima, Love of Lesbian, Vetusta Morla or Facto Delafé y las Flores Azules. When I feel more anglophone I go for Arcade Fire, I'm from Barcelona, Coldplay or The Killers, for example.

- Movies: I have an undying love for period dramas (which applies also to books), and movies based on 19th century English books usually make me really happy. I'm also a huge fan of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and The Lord of the Rings, to say just some of them.

- Books: tough question. Two of the latest books I've red and really, really enjoyed are T. Mann, Buddenbrooks and U. Eco, The name of the rose. I don't know if this information says anything about me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to say something like "some Spanish cooking", but I'm afraid that's not the case, I'm not the best cook in town. But I can try something!

However, I can share anything I know, about my country, its history and whatever you're interested in!
