ABOUT ME

My name is Laura, I am 27yo, I'm from Brazil, more specifically from the very South of it. I'm currently living in São Paulo where I work as a doctor, helping people to understand better their lifestyle, their eating habits and how to improve their health holisticaly. I am vegan since 2015 and it was for sure one of the best choices I've ever made because it simply opened my mind for an infinity of other important subjects such as feminism, consumism, environmental health, slavery, human rights... basically everything that concerns us as Earth Beings and that it seems from time to time we forget about what's important and we let the chaos take charge. I am very grateful for this mind shift! Oh well, I also love the nature, the beach.. I am passionate for this energy. Speaking of energy, I am super energetic, you probably won't see me procrastinating or not being into a good "day out ( or night out)”, specially when I'm traveling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had few experiences on couchsurfing until now. First I hosted a guy from Holland at my house in Brazil. I had met him in La Paz, Bolivia during my backpacker trip and we became to be friends, so when he went to Brazil he stayed at my place. It was very nice, I introduced him to my city, my friends, took him to parties and he enjoyed a lot. In my other experiences I was hosted in Adelaide when I went to meet the Great Ocean Road this year in Australia, and I stayed at two houses with my friend. It was a nice experience as well and we could meet people for around the world and have a lot of fun with our hosts. I'm hoping to have another experiences soon

Interests

I love meeting new people, cultures and basically everything that can help me improve as a human being. I love to eat, to walk, I simply adore the nature and animals. My interests are to learn all that I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done in my life was to do the Salkantay 5 days tracking to go to Macchu Picchu in Peru. That was really amazing, I have no words to describe it.
