About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm honest and respectful. I always try to be the person I am. I think it's more than enough, you need to meet for knowing someone ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Be open to everything and ready to accept some small revolutions, since you never know what could happen in your life.

"The place to improve the world is first in one's own heart and head and hands, and then work outward from there." — Robert M. Pirsig

Let your heart be your compass.

"Alle persone piene di sé preferisco le persone piene di se"

Interests

I'm addicted to travelling (it's strange here, isn't it?), I want to discover cultures and other ways of living, I love to taste food of the places I visit, I like to meet people from all over the world...I love reading (even if I hardly ever can do it as much as I'd like....too much work, glom) I may say I'm interested in international politics, art, herbal medicine...but that's just a short and partial resume. I love adventure, open-air life and to feel deeply what I'm doing especially while I'm travelling, actually while travelling it's easier. I try to do the same in the daily life: I call it "not to forget to be happy", it's a stupid sentence but it reminds to think and feel even when the tunnel tries to eat you...for instance, finding small colourful surprises in the greyness helps...

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a hard question...I'm usually not interested in names, titles, kind of...result is that I don't have a range where to move, completely free but at the same time ignorant and not able to carry on a conversation on it. By the other hand I'm literaly caught by people playing instruments. I love reading, hard to find someone who doesn't! I know real book-eaters, I'm not among them even if a book has got the power to change the mind and the heart, to teach, to open windows in the inner self and to make people "have a trip" although inside the blanket. Those are the books I like and they belong to various genres and natures. I like watching movies, either in a cinema or on the sofa. Several titles and no way for me to find a fil rouge between all of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Full moon light and sunrise on Nemrut mount.
Leaning over an overhanging rock on Sibillini swayed by the wind.
Feeling breathless entering Miracles square in Pisa.
Goose flesh while sitting in an orthodox church in the very heart of Istanbul listening at the same time to the priest singing the mass and the muezzin singing the ezan.
Free hugs!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking so I would be glad to cook for friends and CS friends, and of course to learn from them! Regarding kitchen stuff I'm in the way of changing (read trying and feeling) my eating habits then good for me to learn new recipes from the huge and unknown world of vegan/vegetarianism (I know internet is always ready for this aim but...come on, there is a completely different mood in learning by doing with someone!) Sharing languages I think is obvious: I love my language and I love to teach it, Italy lovers are always welcome! by the way, I really need to revise my little Turkish not to forget it completely!
