ABOUT ME

I grew up in Brooklyn and moved to Baltimore to go to university. In 2004, I moved to New Zealand to go to veterinary school. I have been practicing as a vet for 3 years, and have decided that this year I will take some time off and go traveling. I am heading to the USA in May, then down to Cuba in June, and on to Europe in July. I'm going to do some veterinary volunteer work in northern India in August/September, then on to Nepal for some scenic tramping and back to NZ via South East Asia and Japan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted coushsurfers here in Levin, but it is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car. I hope to meet a few more couchsurfers in my travels around the world.

Centres d'intérêt

I am a very outdoorsy person and like anything involving excercise. I do a lot of tramping and running in NZ, but am up for anything really.
I do ceroc dancing, and would be very keen to learn new types of dancing while traveling.
I am a good cook and love to try new food. Part of my reason for going traveling is to try new cuisines from around the world.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love to read, all sorts of books really but I do like a good mystery. I just finished reading the Ender's game series which was fascinating.
I have a thing for old movies, expecially ones with Katherine Hepburn.
I like all sorts of music, mostly I like interesting/thought provoking lyrics, but a catchy tune is always good as well.

All of my beautiful tramping experiences in New Zealand. You can't drive for more than one hour in this country without seeing something breathtaking.
