ABOUT ME

I am a very sociable person. I love being around people and share, laugh, talk (I talk a lot!), eat (oh well, I do eat a lot as well!), drink (ermmm..! :)), ..., ...., well, I just love being surrounded by people and try to enjoy every single moment I have! :)

I really like meeting new people, discovering new things/places (I *love* travelling!) and sharing my experience with all the people I have the chance to meet.

Some of my friends think that I am idealistic and that the world is not as nice as I think it is...but to me, if you're trying to make a difference by smiling every day, being friendly and open minded and helping people around you as much as you can, then the world IS a great place to live in and life is more than worth living! :)

Also, never forget that "Nothing is impossible, the word itself says "I'm possible" (thanks Audrey Hepburn!)" so just try; even when it seems hard, just try and I'm pretty sure there's always gonna be something positive coming out of it! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed only once when I first arrived to England and I hosted a few people since then.
I usually travel with friends so then we stay in hostels or so; but when I travel on my own, I'd rather use CS so that I can meet locals and discover the non touristy places! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I came to England, I had nowhere to live, no job, no money and no friends....but I had Couch surfing!!!
And I met some lovely people I will never forget...

Also, just to make it very clear, I would like to emphasize the fact that couchsurfing is NOT a dating website....! I happened to be in a quite uncomfortable situation recently and although I know it was really unfortunate, and that CS is really safe, it did not feel great!
I am still happy to welcome people to stay at mine and to meet people from all around the world but please, don't make things awkward and don't try to corrupt couchsurfing from its original aim! :)

Interests

I'm very curious and am interested in lots of things...
In particular? Well, I must say I am passionate about my job (studying the brain and helping people with mental health disorders to feel better!). I also love travelling, as well as meeting new people. I am doing quite a lot of sport (*love* running!) and I am an orange belt in kickboxing! Also love reading, although I can't always find the time to do so!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went sky diving in Canada and that was amazing! :)

Also just ran a half marathon in 108 minutes and that was seriously amazing! :) Very tiring but incredibly rewarding! :)

I also went diving in the Great Barrier Reef and had a swim with turtles, massive fish and saw the most beautiful things ever....this comes at the end here as I entered everything in chronological order but I think it probably comes first in the most amazing thing I've done/seen!!! :)

I am truly passionate about the brain and mental health disorder. I could talk about it and listen to people talking about it for ever! So I'd be happy to share my knowledge and also to learn through people that are as passionated as I am! :)
