About Me
Hey community, I'm Laura currently based in Madrid, studying a semester abroad in International Relations
Currently:

- Training for the Madrid marathon 2020
- getting to know Madrid and hoping to meet some inspiring people (via couchsurfing ?:)
-trying to put a smile on someone’s face every day:)
ABOUT ME
I lovee to meet people from all over the world, to share stories, to hear stories, to learn, to connect and to grow
Improving and challenging myself everyday, going out of my comfort zone, taking a risk ,finding out who I am, who I want to become, trying to enjoy and take every moment of life - as it comes - while spreading some love along the way!
Philosophy:
Live in the moment, that’s all you have.
When you judge someone, you aren’t defining them, you are defining yourself.
"the essence of any religion lies solely in the answer to the question: why do I exist, and what is my relationship to the infinite universe that surrounds me? it is impossible for there to have no religion(i.e. without any kind of relationship to the world) as it is for there to be a person without a heart. he may not know that he has a religion, just as a person may not know that he has a heart, but it is no more possible for a person to exist without a religion than without a heart." -tolstoy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get inspired and inspire!
- the most lovely experience on couchsurfing I had when I stayed with a family in Harare, Zimbabwe when I was 19.
Cutest family and super caring when I was injured, sick and had no money that I felt part of it and such inspiring human beings! Future goals!
- the kindest and nicest host I spent with a couple of days in Braga, Portugal. After I told him about my trip he got all excited and joined me and together we drove south, he showed me the most beautiful beaches and I got to stay in his holiday‘s apartment. I had an unforgettable time in Portugal and I’m forever grateful and thankful.
