Hello. My name is Laura. I am Samoan currently living in Spearfish, SD. I love the outdoors, even though I'm allergic to the outdoors. That has not stopped me. Heheheh. I also love to meet new people and check out new places. Im pretty adventurous. Im laid back and very optimistic. I love learning about new things, too. :)

....A people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots........O uo i aso uma, a'o uso i aso vale....*Dont be content/settle for the ways people want you to be, be the daring you that looks at them and show them that you were meant to do greater things & more in life. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I found out about couch surfing through one of my roommates Summer of 2010. She was amazing, and we were able to house 4 couch surfers coming through South Dakota. I met some amazing people and thought I give it a try. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my comfort zone (American Samoa, my home) in 2004 and moved to Spearfish, SD. I havent been back since then. Culture shock and all, but still enjoying every bit of it.

I would love to learn more about CouchSurfing. I like to learn about every couch surfer I would get to host or who wants to host me. People can learn about my culture and I would love to learn about theirs.
