ABOUT ME

I love being outside. I love art and exercising my creativity. I work as a photographer/graphic designer and have a hard time being indoors. A cubicle is too confining so my jobs must be flexible and engaging and preferably outdoors. I love the snow and skiing of the rocky mountains and the deserts of southern utah. I like finding peace in nature. I am obsessed with the beauty and solace found in the desert and I feel the mountains are the best place to have a spiritual experience. As a child we moved a lot and I was exposed to different ways of living and life and now I crave adventure and change. I need constant intellectual stimulation and believe that life and the library are the best teachers. Oh yes and I am tall.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to show anyone around - give them local insider tips, or meet up for a day of skiing! We had lots of exchange students when I was a kid, and I feel that we are a global community, what better way to become acquainted then invite someone new into your life, and show them around your city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent and entire two months couchsurfing around Europe. I think there was only one teeny town in Switzerland that I didn't find a couchsurfer. It was incredible. I still keep in touch with the friends that I make abroad, and it really has been some of the best times I ever have. I look forward to meeting new people and having more adventures. Thanks everyone! Yay for a global community!

Interests

Books. Adrenaline Rushes. Skiing. Being in nature is thrilling and people should dance if there is music. I have been fascinated with cooking and food for sometime, and more recently learning the guitar. I would like to be able to dance the flamenco and go heliskiing. Most of my longterm goals include places and people instead of dollar signs and digits. Life is a journey and I really want to make it awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on the peak of jebel musa in the sinai peninsula of egypt. Hiking under the shadow of the Eiger and Jungfrau in switzerland. Skiing in Utah. Backpacking in the Southern Utah desert - seriously gorgeous glittery stars in the prettiest desert you have ever seen.
