ABOUT ME

I'm Laura, 22 years old and I study in Ghent.
I'm easygoing, friendly and always in for a laugh.
My hobbies are skiing, swimming, reading, surfing, cooking and eating. As a Belgian, I'm also a big fan of beer, of course. Wine can please me too. If you're in for a drink, I can show you the nicest pubs in Ghent!
Travelling is one of my favourite things, I've been to a lot of European countries and some african but there's still a lot I want to discover. Couchsurfing seems to me a great way to visit cities and countries because you see them from a different perspective and it's a good opportunity to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like all kinds of genres, especially romantic comedies, german movies and those from Almodóvar. I also like to watch series as Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, True Blood and some british comedy series such as Miranda, Keeping up Appearances, Fawlty Towers,...
Music: I like lots of kinds, my favourite band is Eels. I also enjoy listening to the radio. I've seen some nice live performances, for example U2, Muse, Iron Maiden, Eels etc., most of them at summer festivals.
Books: I've been reading books since I was a child. Now, I do not always have the time for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A hitchhiking competition to Cologne and back has been a great experience. My boyfriend and I were the last, but we made lots of fun =)
