About Me

I'm a positive, active and curious Spaniard, who loves traveling and learning from other cultures. I enjoy outdoor sports, especially diving, climbing and cycling, and in general sitting outside in a sunshined backyard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met amazing, warm and welcoming people from all around the world. It is an incredible easy way to meet people like myself, sharing experiences, cultures, travels, tips.. etc.

I have participated in CS in many ways: I have hosted some times while living in Barcelona, I've surfed around the world, I've met many people everywhere. Together with my partner we export the spanish omelette to the world (see fotos!).

I also belonged to the Recruiter Team of CS from 2009 till 2012, where I recruited people around the globe to work in this amazing organization that is CouchSurfing! Some months ago I started working as a Recruitment Coordinator, dealing with CS expansion.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite series: LOST, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead..

Favorite book: "The Beach" by Alex Garland. Also "Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, and the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett. And any book of Michael Crichton (lately I read his book "Travels" and I just loved it!).

Favorite movie: I like movies by Tarantino, Woody Allen. But also scifi movies likeTerminator 1-2, Matrix.. The movie Sliding Doors is a movie that makes me consider things...

Favorite Music: all in general, depending on the mood and situation. Traditionally I've been hearing for ages the sort of Green Day, Offspring, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and some britpop. Lately I'm more into chill out, Morcheeba, Thievery Corporation...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelling by myself for 7 month around Asia, and all the happenings related to that trip!

My work experience in Russia was also one of that kind (with its pros and cons!)

And our nowadays travels around the world! We have created a whole lifestyle of travelling and working at the same time, a perfect balance between our wish to be around the world and our economical means. Visiting the countries at a slower path, meeting and trying to understand the local people, their traditions... an awesome experience!

Teach, Learn, Share
