Heya, I'm Laura! I'm living in edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The cold part! Have traveled a fair bit and like to meet new people.. I had alot of people help me out in my travels (not all through couchsurfing) so I would like to try to do the same at home.

I love meeting new people and seeing the sights as the locals do. They always know the best hidden spots. It's great to make friend's around the world.

Enjoy a good nightlife, live music, Festivals, beach, camping, snowboarding and adventures.

Happy to have spontaneous road and camp trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listen to all kinds of music. Last week I saw Ice Cube!! Next week I'm going to see The Lazys ! The only type I've never been into much is heavy metal and country but my mind and ears are open!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

moved out of red deer( my home town ) and road tripped to whistler, bc with no plans, lived there for a year. Met some amazing friends!
Have now up and quit a job and my comfortable life 3 times and it's been the best life experiences!! A slight set back when home but no regrets

Good humor and polite Canadian, I don't mind to help out around house as well, I like to offer maybe some wine or beer if I can afford it :-) can also cook some Vietnamese food or a mean red thai curry! Yum.
