ABOUT ME

I'm a South Australian who developed a passion for travel later in life. I'm thankful I waited til I knew who I was before I began these experiences, because I feel as though I have learned a lot more from the places I have visited than I would have as an 18 year old, deferring studies to run amuck in Europe. But travel comes down to personal experiences - this is what was right for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't hosted yet, but I have surfed twice. Once I settle in one location for longer than a few months at a time I intend to host in an attempt to keep the sense of travel alive by living vicariously through others ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Washington - AMAZING. My host was fully prepared with maps and eatery suggestions, information on public transport and an immaculate establishment to host with. Drinks on the last night were a blast, and I feel I have made a friend for life. Boston - hmmmm. Well one out of two ain't bad! Still, you can never fault a person for opening up their home to you, so regardless of my experience, I will be forever grateful.
