Trying to learn basic spanish. Still not good at all.
I am 24 years old, travelling with my partner Tom Hornemann. Hoping to see Central America for the first time. We wanted to travel somewhere different where we have to speak another language and become immersed in a new culture.
We will be travelling to Canada also, for the third time, to visit friends in Whistler and D'Arcy. We will be going to a few festivals- Shambhala and hopefully Burning Man if our funds allow it all.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to meet new people, make some new friends and learn the locals way. I think we could all learn from one another, which will be awesome! We also are trying to keep our spending to a minimum and couch surfing is a great way to keep spending down. It is also great to return the favour to our hosts when they are visiting our homes!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of different kinds of music, not a fan of country music so much. One of my favourite movies is Forgetting Sarah Marshall but I love a lot of movies such as romantic comedys, comedy, documentaries, some dramas, some action.
I really like the tv series New Girl, some good laugh out loud moments.
Books I like to read involve a lot of factual health books, biographies and fiction.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn some spanish to help with my trip to Central America. I also am trying to learn different hula hooping techniques. I would love to learn more about how to play the keyboard. I love to draw and paint but do not find much time to do it anymore. I also love to play sports and I love to learn. I am also doing a course in Biology to help me before I return to university to learn about Nutrition and Dietetics.
