ABOUT ME

I like to write a lot in various forms, I love food, my greatest fear in life is wasting a meal with crummy food and dying, I love my bike and riding wherever I go and I work in the land of radio and think it's the best ever.

PHILOSOPHY

The only worthwhile pursuit in life is travelling and experiencing new and different cultures. And eating.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used couchsurfing a bunch when I was travelling across the Americas. It's a awesome way to hang out with locals and get a great view of the city minus all the tourist stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hitchhiked across Alaska & Canada & then drove through America with a friend, throughout all of this we either slept on the side of the road, in Walmart carparks OR when we were organised and lucky we got to couch surf with some of the best people ever, it is by far the best way to experience a new place and I would never go back to staying in hostels. I have met the most amazing people through couch surfing and hope to keep on doing so.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Living in New York and going to film school was a dream come true. The most amazing thing I did in South America was trek for 4 days to get to Machu Pichu. Hitching on the top of the world highway to cross the canadian/american border and getting stranded on the at the border was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. My friend and I ended up finding shelter from the storm coming in in a town of 6 people called Boundary where we were given a warm couch in 100 year old cabin and fed delicious caribou meat and then given a ride into a major town the next day by the mayor of the town.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can cook fairly well and poach a mean egg. I can strum a guitar in a fun spanish way and play the chords for House of the Rising Sun and I can juggle.
