About Me
Kind and easy-going , eager to meet new people and experience different cultures :) currently studying French and contemporary Chinese studies at Nottingham university, England.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Really like the concept of couchsurfing. Gives you the opportunity to meet kind people, see the local places, and therefore experience a different side to the places in which you're travelling.
Whilst couchsurfing I like to share and be helpful around the house, and love to hear people's interesting stories and experiences!
Interests
Passionate about languages. I also love reading, listening/dancing to music, playing the piano, cycling and skiing.
Got my TEFL last year and really enjoyed teaching English to young kids - very rewarding!
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Indie, house, garage, classical, some pop reggae jazz (generally like most music)
Film: Lots of films so difficult to pick favourites -The Pianist, Hot Fuzz, Lion King, Shutter Island, Mean Girls, Walk the Line..
Books: Oracle bones, Wild Swans, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Kite Runner
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done some cool things during travelling, achieved some difficult goals, and always tried to be kind...
Perhaps travelling for months alone at the age of 18 was my bravest move
Teach, Learn, Share
Eager to become fluent in French so I try to get any practise I can!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some interesting stories about experiences, and when it comes to my opinions, I am very liberal, and love sharing views and generating interesting conversations
