flims by david lynch, pedro almodovar, darren aronofski. my favorite comedy is wet hot american summer! for music i like the talking heads, tropicalia music like os mutantes, african music like fela kuti and king sunny ade, animal collective and yo la tengo and chill wave and afrobeat and cheesy 90s r&b. my favorite books are white noise by don delillo and the book of laughter and forgetting by milan kundera. I also like carlos fuentes and julio cortazar.

golden gate park might be my favorite place in the world, one of my best days was getting lost here and spending all day walking so that a friend and i reached ocean beach just as the sun was setting and it was the warmest day in san francisco with no wind and so many colors in the sky
