ABOUT ME

I'm an easy-going person. I don't really stress much and I get excited easily about random things. When I really like something, I usually do it way too much. I'm open minded and like to see the good in other people.

I have been chasing winter the past few years (one season in Whistler, Canada and two in Niseko, Japan). This year I will be travelling through South America, hoping to spend as much time outdoors and in the sunshine as possible!

PHILOSOPHY

Try and see the good side of everything. Usually the things that seem the worst at the time are what shape us most or end up being what we look back on and say - "Good times..."

I have couchsurfed in Canada, the USA and Argentina. I can't wait to host others when I get home one day!

Interests

I like doing pretty much everything and I'll try almost anything once.

I enjoy travelling, figuring stuff out, the beach, random encounters, computers, animals, meeting interesting characters, learning languages, music, good humor, snowboarding, maths, spending time with friends, food, the outdoors, observing things, a good challenge...

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies that can make you laugh hysterically, change your perspective, think a little deeper and want to look away but you can't.

I love music - pretty much any and every genre from country to rock and roll to trance and I'll admit I'm also a sucker for some catchy pop songs!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow - don't even know where to start here!! I have been so lucky to have been to some of the most amazing places in the world. From the mountains in Canada and Japan, to the Grand Canyon, Australia's outback and beautiful beaches and some great big cities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about Australia if you've never been. There are so many great things to see there!!

I'm excited about learning languages and about other cultures.
