About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to understand something about this world so complicated, understand what Social Change means and do whatever I can to work for it...

ABOUT ME

I don't know how you do it but it's really hard to tell you in a few words how I am. I'm open mind, that's for sure, crazy...more sure, but just because I'm trying to find my place in this hard, but wonderful world...a dynamic place as dynamic is this world...

I am a social person, I like social science and social work€. I think that the best thing in the world are social relationship and how there is a continuous exchange of energy and feelings and in this exchange we all learn and improve ourselves.

PHILOSOPHY

I truly believe that sufferance comes from separation, and that the solution to your problem could be found in the solution of someone else problems, it is a sharing of needs and natural solidarity, natural because it happens with no planning..just letting you go in this energetic flow.
My slogan is "Yo Soy Porque Nosotros Somos"€, and my favorite symbol is the €œOhm, out of any religion though.

For this reason I am really interested in spreading community living around the world as a social movement…it is the key of social change, together with personal change.
In a community people share their lives, their experiences, their good and bad times…moments of chores with moments of easy or deep conversations, and it is in all this sharing that we can grow adding a €œplus€ to the some of everybody's consciousness.

I would say that my mission is first of all to understand what Social Change means and second do whatever I can to work for it, even if I really think that is all this process that helps constructing it, it is not a clear process..it is just in trying and being wrong and trying again that we can give a sense to it.

In my everyday life the most important thing is to live as better as I can, to smile every day and to make people I have around smile too...that's the important thing, the way is just the question of my life...and I'm living for it...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in South America in my 3 months trip, in India, in Belgium, in Florence...well Cousurfing gives you the opportunity to do what I like in the world...sharing lives and energy with other people and meet everyone's needs as magic!

Interests

I love travelling, but I don't like to travel just to visit places, when I travel I want to learn, to discover, to change because of the things I see, the people I meet, the hidden I feel...I prefer to travel in developing countries for humanitarian aid and anthropology interest...it is in the exchange of points of view that all of us can grow up...in these countries you have a higher possibility of finding situations you are not used to and learn from that and from local people and every other travelers.
I wish I had the words to describe what is a travel for me.

I also love math, I like playing with those strange formulas and I find it funny when an equation is solved, I don't know why, probably because this world is so complicated I spend most of my time trying to understand it…and sometimes having an equation that you can truly understand and solve..makes you feel good eheh..this is my way of explaining it.
But I would never work just with formulas, in a lab with a computer and working for something abstract, proof of theorems or technology..

I have decided to connect these two aspects of myself by using statistical methods to evaluate humanitarian and social programs and analyze which are the social factor and how they interact in generating psychological and health problems in people living in emergency situations and how should we intervene. The thing is that I am so angry about how this fuckin society works and I want to understand what are the main factors that make people live so badly and so unhappy and try to write them down in order to make them clear to everyone so that people could finally react to all this.
