I am a teacher in my year off, this is my chance to travel around the world bfore I am getting too old for it. I am very easy going and easiliy satisfied with all sorts of accommodation. Also I am very much interested to get to know all sorts of people and ways of life. My two daughters have made very good experiences with couch surfing and encourage me to to it as well. Alas I cannot be a host myself right now, because my life conditions have changed in a way that I live now in a very small place, and also I will be away travelling most of the time during the next twelve months. But next year I'd love to welcome guests in South Germany.
I live hiking (trekking), travelling by bicycle and camping, and altogether being in the nature.

Easter holiday 2015: a 5 days trekking tour including camping in the rain forest in Cameroon together with my two daughters and other young folks under 25.

I'm a teacher for slow learning children who most have very difficult and unsupporting family backgrounds. I really love my profession, even after 30 years of teaching, but also I'm very much looking forward for my one year off.
