ABOUT ME

I am a student of the world who loves learning and having fun. I am working towards a career in the film industry. I want to make excellent movies! I am always working on improving myself as a person. I like to meet new people and engage in stimulating conversation. I love my friends and they know I am always there for them and support them. I love to go on adventures no matter big or small. travelling to new places is so eye-opening for me. i think evryone should give themselves the chance to travel, I am friendly, considerate and respectful. I love to laugh, sing, act, etc. I am silly but also quiet and thoughtful. I like having authentic, intelligent conversations with people. I have family here in the USA and my dad's side of the family is in England. I love the provincial feel of Europe and its history.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to say "there are endless possibilities!" because it is true! I have realized you have to put your thoughts into action and you will get results in your life. why waste time doing something? I am a compassionate human being and I am grateful to be sharing this earth. Respecting the earth is important to me. I aim to be open-minded, a good listener, and to be authentic with everyone I meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with many friends and relatives, in the USA and in England. I have visited Paris and Prague. I have learned being a conscientious guest and host is very important. Communication, politeness, compassion, hospitality, respect, and integrity are the words that come to mind when i am a guest. I have responsible friends who have couchsurfed and highly recommended it to me. I think it is good to go out of your comfort zone and enter someone else's home. Learn from them, connect with them on many levels.

兴趣

I love making movies, and all the aspects that go into making films. I have a film production company with some friends and we have made numerous short films in 2012 - our first year as a company. I plan to go to film school within the next year. I am artistic and passionate about the fine arts. I am a nerd. Some of my favourite subjects are history and foreign languages. I love European history and the romantic languages. I like to sing, dance, act, ride horses, read, learn new things and surround myself with genuine, passionate people.

I love alternative music, whether it is folk, electronic, etc. I love old music, whether it is Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin, Queen, or Mumford & sons. Suffice to say I have a broad taste of music. Same goes for movies. I love love love movies. One of the films I fell in love with was "Gone With The Wind". I enjoy classic and foreign films, as well as comedies and well-written dramas. My favourite movie of 2012 is "Moonrise Kingdom" - it is excellent! I read The Hunger Games and saw the movie - one of my favourite series at the moment. I like reading classic books and also modern books that are enriching, not mind-numbing. i like getting suggestions for good music, movies, and books.

When I traveled to Canyonlands, Utah, USA I sat on top of a mesa overlooking miles and miles of carved canyons. It was completely silent. That was a moment where I experienced a pure sense of peace of mind.

Teaching some one how to speak another language or ride a horse is very challenging and very rewarding. Teaching requires patience, listening, understanding, and a can-do attitude. Explaining a certain way of life, culture, a musical instrument or how to use the computer even can be fun. I would like to teach people about my passions, how to create art from life, and how to deal with a negative world. I would love to learn how to cook! I am vegetarian.
