About Me

Hello friends! I am yet another explorer that has been bitten by the travel bug! Allow me to tell you a bit about myself:
I have been blessed to have been working as a nurse for four years. My job has allowed for me to feed that travel bug and explore many new places and cultures, meeting many amazing people along the way. I am currently taking the year to circumnavigate the world and experience as much as I can while I am blessed with health and opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually tend to gravitate towards hostels and guest houses; but I would like to try something a bit more intimate and informative. I would love to meet locals in my desired destinations and learn about them and the lives that they lead. I am interested in seeing the culture and experiencing life outside of the tourist perspective. We are all brothers and sisters in humanity and I believe that we each have something valuable to offer each other.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music. Each style of music tells a different story and holds a unique perspective. As a musician, I will always be a fan of authentic, instrumental music.
As for movies and books, I very much enjoy documentaries and Biographies. The world is a big place and there is much to be learned. I also enjoy a story that is an intellectually stimulating mind-twister. Of course, I also quite enjoy a good romance and comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm....To pick only one amazing thing that I have done...
Here is a fun memory from my 3-week backpacking journey through Thailand. My adventure entailed eating scorpions, spending the day at an elephant sanctuary, snorkeling among the islands, meeting new friends, the lantern festival, and getting bitten by a monkey! Don't worry, no rabies here!
