ABOUT ME

I am open minded and really interested in other cultures. I love going to the theatre and other cultural events. Friends say I am easy to get along with. I always try to be nice to other people and adjust to the current situation, so I would say that I am very spontanious. And I love music and cooking.

PHILOSOPHY

I never really thought about my personal philosophy, but I am a very positive person and love to live my life the way I imagine it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a small flat with a big couch where I think it would be nice to have people crash on.
I for myself love to travel and especially explore other cities and get to know other people. That is why I joined couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not have a lot of experience with couchsurfing, because most of the time I already know somebody in the cities I am going to, but I hope I can get some more experiences with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of kinds of music: classical, rock, pop, soul and older stuff. Some of my favorite bands are Queen, Blondie, The Beatles and Janis Joplin. I also like people who do more the singer songwriter kind of music like Joshua Radin and music that has a bit of jazzfeeling to it like Regina Spector.

With movies it is the same: Action, Drama, Comedy ... the only things I dislike are horror movies
Some of my favorite movies are: Breakfast at Tiffanys (who could not love Audrey Hepburn?!), all the Batman movies, Harry Potter (sorry grew up with this ^^), Psycho

I am a real series junky and love to watch Big Bang Theory, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, NCIS and many more ... unfortunately I discover a new series every month

I enjoy reading the old classics in english and german especially things like Dracula, books by Ben Aranovich, and of course Harry Potter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing time I had in my semester abroad in Portugal. It is an amazing country with a lot of culture and wonderful people.
Another cool thing was the time when I travelled through Austria for one month, visiting many different cities. This was the first time I used Couchsurfing and it was an amazing experience =)

Teach, Learn, Share

I think its always interesting to learn little things, like some words in a foreign language or recepies from a different culture. I really love cooking and think it's a wonderful thing to get to know a country by trying typical food. So I'm a good guide to German food and beer of course :D
I myself can teach you a little German ... no it is not a rude language ;-)
Due to the fact that I live in Cologne for 3 years now I know a lot of cool places to see and If I have the time I would love to show you around.
