I identify myself as an artist - I'm a very visual and kinetic person (which means that I like exploring and DOING things)!I taught English for a year in Gwangju, South Korea, and now I'm living in Daejeon! Before that in Florida, I was an Art teacher at several schools and camps, and was also employed with a great Fitness Center. I feel like to be the best teacher possible, you must first have some amazing experiences and stories to share and pass on, which is one reason I'm so determined to travel! I'm usually up for doing anything that could be fun or interesting!

I've couch surfed two and a half times (one of the three was with a second cousin, does that count??). The experience my hosts gave me was the highlight of my travels! So far, I've hosted two guests (unfortunately usually I don't live in places that have a lot of extra room...). I have also gone to lots of Couch Surfing meetups and like to meet other travelers.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

A 20 day road trip across the country and back (FL-->CA-->FL). Watched a baby elephant escape at the Baltimore Zoo. Stars reflected in a lake and fireflies spark past our canoe like shooting stars in the middle of the night. The space shuttle launch into orbit, several times. Three Green Day concerts in five days. Snoop Dogg (wait, ugh, LION!) walking around Times Square. Falling in love. Volunteering with the Shands Arts in Medicine program, and seeing people completely forget about their problems after they become engaged in art projects (closest thing to magic!). Left my Florida life for a year to live and work in Korea.

The most important thing I've learned in life is to do what you believe is to do what your heart tells you to do. Also, there's a difference between a rock and a boulder - I've had an hour long conversation about it in a line for tickets - so I could always share that with you!
