Overview
About Me
Brandon (my husband) and I love nothing more than to meet people from all over the world. I have an art degree (I make porcelain sculptures) and just finished a Master of Public Administration. I taught data visualization and R coding classes at the grad school, and my life goal is to use machine learning in a nonprofit/government setting for the public good. Brandon is an immigrant rights attorney and works to hold the federal government accountable for harms inflicted on immigrants. Suffice it say we want to make the world a better place! We just welcomed a spunky little girl into our family this year and so things are happy and crazy around here!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has been an incredible opportunity to get to know amazing people and cultures from around the world. Even though we have only been on CS for a couple years, we have already met so many special people we wouldn't have met otherwise, and had some grand adventures! Whether you live a state away or on the other side of the world, we want to be friends and share our experiences. We particularly love the chance to practice our Spanish, so ¡bienvenidos! We are students and are working during the school year so we may not have a ton of time to hang out, but we would love to spend time with you with the time we have. During the summer we love traveling! Please read over the preferences in the "My Home" section, and let us know in a travel request that you read it. Thanks!

Teach, Learn, Share
We love learning tidbits from other languages. If you speak another language, we'd love to try to learn some.
We love sharing travel advice for Utah. The outdoor scene here is incredible, and we've been all over the state backpacking and camping, so let us give you some suggestions for where to go.
If you catch me at the right time, I can even give you a demonstration on a pottery wheel.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We love to cook! Teach us a thing or two about how you make food and we'll share something in return.
Also, we’d love to play some music for you, or if you play/sing, to do so together!
