About Me

I grew up in California but I've been in Boston for the last 5 years going to college. I've just graduated, and am looking forward to exploring Europe this summer!

I studied electrical engineering in school, and am hoping to find a job working on biomedical electronics after moving back to the Bay Area.

I love to cook and to try new foods. This is hands down my favorite part of traveling. I like to get around by bicycle. I listen to a ton of music (all genres), and try to see live shows as often as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite part of college was meeting interesting people and talking to them about what they were learning and the cool things they had done. I hope to do the same thing through Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie pop, old folk and rock, jazz and funk.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad in Spain in high school. I was young and scared to leave home by myself, but it ended up being an amazing experience. I met people that I'm still friends with today. I started in Madrid, took Spanish classes for 3 weeks in Córdoba, stayed with a family outside of Grenada, and then spent a week in Barcelona with my mom. Everyone I met was so welcoming, and they made me see that traveling to a new place and getting out of your comfort zone is the best thing you can do.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to speak English if that's something you're working on. I would love to learn some of the language of the area, so hopefully we can trade :)

I would be happy to cook you a meal. I love to talk math and science, and am interested in learning about whatever floats your boat!
