ABOUT ME

Born to run! I am a performance artist, writer and jazz singer- began my travels in that vein. I am now searching for a new city, anywhere in the world, in which to live fully, write, perform, sing. Just moved out of Providence, RI- too small. Have lived in Brooklyn, D.C., Aspen, Paris, Bangkok, Athens. Time for a new chapter. Want to search the world one couch at a time until I find the right place to turn 60!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined up, but would love to offer a beautiful Vermont retreat to weary travelers, artists, good people of the world, who might need a quiet, isolated, safe, gorgeous place to settle in for a week or two. Have couch, have spare bedroom, canoe, beach, lots of books.

Interests

Pretty much a reader, writer. Have a little shih-tzu, Howard, who is my travel buddy. Published short story writer, working on a book of stories. Been singing with jazz trio in Providence, but want to get out of New England area-a little too conservative for me. SO, heading to Vermont (base Camp)- to reorganize and start the search for greener pastures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

People being kind to other people. People getting by during times of great upheaval and loss. The human spirit soaring. An old man, barely able to walk, saving a kitten from a river. A man giving his coat to a homeless person.

Teach, Learn, Share

artists, writers, people who have learned to thrive under the radar and off the grid. I love to teach acting, actually, and improvisation, writing. Freeing the creative spirit. singing. Jazz. - I am a very good Yoga teacher.
