ABOUT ME

I am a student of Anthropology & foreign languages, currently studying Arabic and doing research in Tunisia.

I love traveling and meeting new people. I love cooking too, though I can't really claim to be a chef :p. So perhaps I should say that I really love eating!

I am in my mid-20s, have lived in North Africa for almost 2 years, studied in Washington, DC, and in France, and in general love to see new cities & especially new landscapes. Wandering around is a wonderful way to get to know a new city. I am low-key, and hope that my guests and my hosts enjoy the surfing experience as much as I do.

PHILOSOPHY

Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.

You don't realize how right you are until you realize how right everyone else is too.

Right now, I'm reading "Writing Women's Worlds: Bedouin Stories" by anthropologist Lila Abu-Lughod.

I also love "The Velveteen Rabbit." :)
