I'm on a solo and indefinite road trip across the US to fulfill some of my wanderlust. Before this trip I was living in Seattle working as a nanny and barista, residing on an old yacht and spending good days swimming in the canal alongside yachts, rowers, speedboats and paddle boarders. I have little direction for my future, but immense curiosity and I'm hoping this trip can shed some light on my passions, desires, and the deep-dark corners of my soul.... along with all the fun stuff.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'll be staying with friends and family, camping and sleeping in my car, but for nights those aren't available or I just want a roof, couchsurfing seems like a great option. And, traveling solo is awesome but losing social skills is always a risk... help me prevent that from happening!

Interests

I'm a budding yogi, runner, guitar player, photographer, jewelry maker, poet and blogger - emphasis on the "budding." I enjoy essentially anything outside, love to read, write, eat, etc. etc. People, philosophy, psychology, religion, all fascinate me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started a project in my hometown called "Balloons of La Grande" - interviewed people on happiness in hope of bringing awareness to people's own happiness and what they have to be grateful for or what could be changed - this is a project I'm hoping to resurrect.
